Western Norway

Description
2016. Medium format 6x7 film photograph shot on a Zenza Bronica; scanned, cropped and digitally printed. This photo has been my personal favorite for years — absolutely indigestible for most regular folks, this one is for the true fans of contemporary art & hardcore film grain. It's a close-up crop of the original, heavily dominated by film grain and texture. This is where landscape film photography meets minimalism and gets crushed by grit. The image was taken during one of my road trips across Western Norway, where I lived between 2015-2017. The photo is part of my series Vestlandet, shot on 6x7 and 35mm film cameras, capturing Norway raw, foggy and gloomy — just as it is most of the time. This is the true Norway and its true charm, not the sunny bullshit you see on postcards. *** I’m offering šŸŽ 25% off all prints through December 25th! → Use the following discount code at checkout to claim your discount: MTSAFIRE25OFF šŸŽ ***
